Founded in 1945, St Peters Lutheran College is a Christian, co-education school with two campuses located in Indooroopilly and Springfield, Queensland. The college identifies itself as a community and home-away-from-home, catering to students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 and providing boarding at each of its campuses.

Ross told us how communication between the school and its community relied heavily on the school newsletter — a hard copy notice that was given to the youngest enrolled student of each family. Knowing this wasn’t a reliable way to ensure parents were receiving the information they needed in a timely manner, St Peters Lutheran College implemented a Digistorm App to transform and improve their communication.
Since implementing a Digistorm App, the team says it has “transformed everything.” From sports schedules to buses arriving late, information and communication are now instantaneous for the St Peters community.
“It's not a case of 'we use this on a daily basis,' I think we use the app on an hourly, potentially even minute-to-minute, basis. We rely upon the app so much now and the parents who use the app know that it's their first point of call for up-to-date information.” - Cassie Twemlow

When it comes to favorite app features and modules for St Peter's, the team says push notifications in particular have been a game-changer.
“I'm actually a staff member and a parent of the school, so it's really handy for me if I see a notification on my screen that says 'rowing or cricket has been canceled' – great, we can go home straight after school. When school results are available, we get to see them straight away, and calendar events are always up-to-date.”
