What a year! With 2022 coming to a close, it’s time to reflect on a massive 12 months, not only for our team but for all the schools in our community.  

Join us as we recall some of our team’s highlights and milestones from the past year.

What we’ve been working on:

1. We released The Admissions Club

There was quite the buzz when we launched The Admissions Club, our 13-part web series designed to give bite-sized tips and tricks to admissions and marketing professionals. Our team traveled all over the United States and Australia to sit down with and learn from 14 school marketing and admissions experts, who all shared insider knowledge to help sharpen up your school’s admissions and marketing toolkit.

Our US team was back out on the road, connecting with our community at roadshows, trade shows, exhibitions, client workshops, webinars, and more!

3. We welcomed new schools to the community

We welcomed over 50 new schools throughout the year! From our humble beginnings, it’s hard to believe that our tools now help schools in 12 countries around the world!

We love adding new faces to the Digistorm team, and this year was no exception! Since January, we’ve welcomed 13 new Digipeople into our development, marketing, support, project, and client success teams!

5. We released a ton of new Funnel features

It’s no secret that our all-in-one school admissions solution, Funnel, is client-driven, meaning you get to shape what our product team builds.  

Funnel was once again recognized in G2’s annual awards as a ‘High Performer’ and a ‘Momentum Leader 2022’, and it also received the coveted ‘Users Love Us’ badge. 

This year has also seen over 150 new medium and large-sized releases on top of regular smaller improvements, all designed to give schools even more tools to play with in Funnel.

6. We teamed up with new partners

Each year, we’re focused on partnering with the best in the K-12 technology space to bring even more valuable product integrations to our clients and streamline their processes. This year we were proud to work with the team at Diamond Mind to offer our schools easier payment management.

Beyond product integrations, we also started working with the fine folk (and topic experts!) at Truth Tree, Easy School Marketing and Schoolcraft Digital - all to help our shared schools attract, convert and retain families so they can hit their growth goals.

7. We supported the industry

Beyond our own initiatives, we love supporting the work our schools do by championing our industry partners.  We started off the year by supporting the Mindful School Marketing podcast.

We then headed off to Philadelphia, where we loved working with the team at Independent School Management, supporting their work in the development of new Admissions Directors' skills. 

We’re also proud Senior sponsors of InspirED School Marketers and the InspirED 2022 Brilliance Awards, which celebrates the wonderful work of school marcoms professionals across the world! 

8. We made it to the Gram

We’ve always been on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, but this year we launched our Instagram! Go check out our feed for snapshots of life at Digistorm.

9. We launched Customer Stories

We love the Digistorm website’s latest section: Customer Stories

We share real-life case studies of schools we work with across the world. These stories detail the challenges and goals of our schools, and how our products have helped them to improve their processes and help them grow.

Although our team loves having the flexibility to work from home, spending time together is an important part of our company culture. Beyond regular shared meals at team lunches and special events, our US team hit the snowy slopes of Colorado, and watched some baseball at Coors Field near our Denver office!

11. We made it easier to onboard new clients

We worked hard to make our onboarding process simpler and more efficient for our new schools. With a dedicated learning journey and onboarding team, new Funnel customers are set up for success during their first few weeks using the software!
