Well, it was a massive year for Digistorm — not only for our team but for our amazing schools who grow their communities with our products. Thank you for making our favorite moments from this year possible and for being a part of our incredible community. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at some of our major highlights.

1. Digistorm got a fresh new look

Kicking off just one of the many transformations Digistorm has undergone this year, we launched our rebrand and new website back in February! Usually, you’ll find our talented team of designers helping schools across the globe reinvigorate their brand, but the time came for us to walk the talk!

We loved our old brand, but it no longer reflected our growing team, values, products, or where we’re heading. We needed a new look that would support the Digistorm brand into the future, so our team got to work.

2. We took our events online

While we missed out on hosting many of our planned in-person events with our Australian clients this year, we are proud to say that almost 250 schools joined us for a range of online training sessions and webinars throughout 2021 — here’s to trying again in the new year!

Although, we are happy to say that our face-to-face visits and conferences kicked off again for many of our US clients. Our US team visited four new cities and states this year, including two school campuses (at long last) in Colorado. This year, a big highlight was talking to our friends at Muskegon Catholic Central to learn more about their experience with Funnel. Thanks again to Carmen and the team for having us!

3. Our blog got a revamp!

It’s been a busy year for our team, and we wanted to finish up with a bang! After carrying out a tonne of research with our clients and blog readers, we spent the past few months redesigning our resources center to provide a better, more engaging experience.

The result? Insights. We’ve created a centralized, go-to place for school marketing, admissions, and leadership teams to find resources and inspiration to upskill and help their school grow.

4. We launched our new support hub

We launched our new and improved Support Hub! We created this all-in-one support hub to boost the user experience and help quickly resolve our client’s questions! Featuring improved articles (that have received over 1,900 views) and live chat functionality, the support hub has boosted our customer satisfaction rate to 97%!

5. We celebrated a decade of Digistorm

Don’t they just grow up so fast! This year our team hit a huge company milestone — we turned 10. From building our first school app in 2011 for our friends at Kings Christian College to creating school apps, websites, and enrolment solutions for schools across the world, we’ve come a long way! But, it couldn’t have been made possible without our amazing clients, who allow us to support them and help their schools grow.

6. There were a number of Funnel milestones

It’s no secret that our all-in-one school admissions solution, Funnel, is client-driven, meaning that we take your feedback on board when creating new features. Among the many new releases this year, we’ve put together a list of our top five!

  1. Improved campaign analytics
  2. Funnel automations
  3. SSO Integration
  4. Contactless check-in event app
  5. PDF design improvements

We're also proud to say that Funnel was listed as a G2 High Performer for Summer, Fall, and Winter this year!

7. 10 new faces joined our team

We love adding new faces to the Digistorm team, and this year was no exception! Since January, we’ve welcomed 10 new people into our development, marketing, support, project, and client success teams!

PS. You might have recognized Georgie’s friendly face popping up in many of our Funnel product videos this year. Well, we’re excited to share that she also recently became our Funnel Onboarding Specialist. So you can expect to see a lot more of Georgie in 2022!

Thanks for an amazing year, we can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2022!
